Born and raised in Los Angeles, Eugene has built a multifaceted career that encompasses opera, theatre, and dance that has taken him throughout the United States. The live performing arts are his passion, cause, and calling and this has led him to forge career dedicated to advancing his personal mission that the arts should always be available and accessible to all.
A Career Dedicated to Arts and Culture
Although Eugene's current career focus is as an Arts Manager for nonprofit cultural organizations, his background and experiences includes directing, choreographing, producing and stage managing productions across the country in spaces from intimate black box spaces to large scale performing arts centers to site-specific works. Scenes from these eclectic works are available on his Youtube channel. He has also taught drama and dance to children to emerging professionals.
It is this front-line experience that makes him an exceptional professional that fully understand how arts organizations work. Whether he was managing the box office, writing a grant proposal, or staging an opera, he knows how the different pieces fit together to go from the artistic idea to a fully realized vision.
